Simple Secret to Business Growth

Anyone who has built a business from the ground up know's self-improvement is just part of the package of growth. Yes it helps to be a good communicator. (some folks would say a good salesman) Yes it helps to have technology skills. (especially in todays market) Yes it helps to have a large network of business associates to help mentor you and mastermind with. But really...

What is the BIG Picture?

Self improvement is the "big picture" and sales are the "little picture".
Sales have always been secondary. ~ Jack Cranney, Shaklee Lifetime Master Coordinator

Self improvement is what it's really all about.  It's about getting better.  Sell yourself on the idea of getting better. Some people say that can't sell - Get better
Some say they can't speak in front of a group - Get better
Some say they can't find builders - Get better

I could go on and on about what I've heard people say they can't do and that is what stops them from making progress.  How does a person "get better?"   Attend meetings, read good books, try things more than once that might intimidate you, then do it again, then again, then again.  You'll get better.  Quit trying to convince yourself business is difficult.  Once you have developed a really good attitude I know what will happen....you'll get better.

Here is a short story from another Master Coordinator Gary Burke...  I almost didn't graduate from college because of a requirement to take speech class. I was scared to death to talk in front of a group.  Just the thought of it made me break out in a sweat.  But, no speech class meant no graduation.  I finally took speech.  Literally scared stiff.  I hated it.  To make a long story short, I made it through and received a "C" for my efforts.  I remember telling myself, I'll never do that again....speak in front of people.   Fast forward after speaking at over 6000 meetings in Shaklee.  I can't wait to do it again for the 6001 time.

Shaklee is an opportunity in so many ways and Jack Cranney is absolutely right on the money with what he said above.  Self-development IS the "big picture."  I've experienced it and so have so many others who are in this business.

Sell yourself on one idea and then watch what happens to yourself.  Here is the idea.
Getting better is my goal!  At what you say?  At doing what it takes to build yourself an incredible future building your business.
