My online recording's for the Week!

This has been one of those weeks that I have been at my wits end trying to get my sound card adjusted. It all started on Saturday morning when I talked to Tim Romero in my conference room and he said I sounded "raspy". I actually thought it was my voice because I had just returned home from attending "Country Stampede" a few hours earlier. I'm one of these people who really gets into music concerts and it does take me some time to recover.

Unfortunatly when I had my Q & A session on Monday I was told the same thing.. again I really thought it was just my voice... hey what can I say "Toby Keith" was awesome and my voice really wasn't back to normal yet. Well by Tuesday, Tom Prendergast CEO of Veretekk said I sounded like a flight attendant.. You know the lady that stands up an just rattles off and does the motions before the plan takes off. He was right my mind just wasn't into trainig on Tuesday and I was just going through the motions.

Most of you know I had a training yesterday morning called, "How to Drive Traffic to your Website." That's when reality set in that there was something messed up with my sound system. The recording was terrible it sounded like there was an airplane in the background about ready to take off.

I have spent most of the morning working on my sound settings and think I have it figured out.. hopefully. The only decent recordings I have for this week I recorded on my laptop. Hey they turned out great. The first one is the Veretekk Sunday update and the second one is Tom's advancec SEO class.

The Miracle of Personal Development

The more I help people get started in business the more I realize most of the time what is stopping them is their mind.
Most of you know I use both the Prosperity Automated System and Veretekk to find people for my primary business. Both of these marketing systems work great, but the type of people they bring in to me are very different.

The one thing both of these groups of people have in common are many struggle with belief and mindset. When I saw this article this morning written by Jim Rohn, I knew I needed to post it here.

Since that time I've been working on my own personal development. And I must admit that this has been the most challenging assignment of all. This business of personal development lasts a lifetime.

You see, what you become is far more important than what you get. The important question to ask on the job is not, "What am I getting?" Instead, you should ask, "What am I becoming?" Getting and becoming are like Siamese twins: What you become directly influences what you get. Think of it this way: Most of what you have today you have attracted by becoming the person you are today.

I've also found that income rarely exceeds personal development. Sometimes income takes a lucky jump, but unless you learn to handle the responsibilities that come with it, it will usually shrink back to the amount you can handle.

If someone hands you a million dollars, you'd better hurry up and become a millionaire. A very rich man once said, "If you took all the money in the world and divided it equally among everybody, it would soon be back in the same pockets it was before."

It is hard to keep that which has not been obtained through personal development.

So here's the great axiom of life:

This is where you should focus most of your attention. Otherwise, you just might have to contend with the axiom of not changing, which is:

I talk about daisy chaining almost everyday in my Q & A sessions. Today Mark said, " hey Cindy I made something for you".. and he sent me the link to a free page he had done with the free-page.net site in Veretekk. Anyway again today there is some very good information shared in today's class that Tom Prendergast did on database marketing. He did sway a little and showed me the html code for an iframe. I always wondered how they got some of those Veretekk sites put together so nicely... hey they are using iframes. I'm anxious to try out this new code on my site.

I kind of feel like I'm going to school when I listen to some of these trainings... anyway...

In this class we will be testing some Newsletter directories and submission services and reporting back next week our findings.

Tom also talked about starting a Brain Trust. Basically that will consist of a group of people who will together test opportunities on the net and will share the results. This will be a private group and no tests will public until there are results. Personally I think this is an excellent idea. Gosh 20 people coming together and sharing results is better than just one. After the testing is finished then the results will be public.

I highly suggest you come to these trainings live if you can... you will get so much more out of them. I know for me it helps to listen to what is being taught more than once. This is an on going training class for Veretekk suscribers that teaches how to get to the top of the search engines. If you will apply what is being taught you will have success just like I did, but you do have to work at it. First you must learn the craft of how to do it and then actually apply what you have learned.

MTT TEST Update

Last week I sent an email to MTT for an explaination of why the monthly commissions wern't paid out. Here is my message I sent to MTT customer support:

MTT Customer Support,
I got a message from Jean stating that commissions would be paid out on June 1st if one of our clients had paid for their site and MTT had recived the payment before April 28th.

I purchased a site under my affiliate account and I got a confirmation from USPS service that you recieved my payment on April 18. I was entered into your client system as a paid member on April 20th. However when when I log into my back office to recieve my commissions for my own client account there is a message that says no payment due till next month.

Something isn't adding up here. Either Jean was wrong about the payment dates in her email or the back office of my affiliate account is wrong.

Please let me know what is happening here,

The rest of the email is copy and pasted from the support questions you can view from the website. I have gotten two more emails exactly like this one for different issues that I sent up to support. All they are doing is sending out another autoresponder a week later and not answering any questions you have.

My stats have not changed in since my last week when I posted what was happening here. These are the facts here... for those of you who know me I'm a very optimistic person. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but if you got into this program thinking this is your ticket to the "good life" you are barking up the wrong tree.

I will keep monitoring this program test for any positive changes til August 10, but at this point I'm not going to waist much time on it and I encourage you to move on also.

Lessons learned from this test:

1. Just because you talk to someone once from the company doesn't mean they can be trusted.

2. A nice well put together webite with lots on information doesn't mean it is a good company that can be trusted. There are people out there who will go to alot of work, time, and trouble just to wrongly take others people money. It's really sad that there are people in the world like this, gosh how do these people sleep at night!

3. When they start trying to upsell you before they deliver on the first order, take it as a red flag. Luckly for me I was just testing the program and didn't give a second thought to the upsell, but it does consern me that some people did waist more time and money on the upsell.

4. Don't make your test's public until you have good results. I still have mixed feelings on this lesson, because I know have spared a few people from jumping in by reading my results. I also know that just because I decided to test that some people probably jumped in too. That's the reason I won't make any more of my tests public.

I have learned in life there are really no mistakes only lessons to be learned and lesson's are repeated until they are learned. Hopefully you have been able to learn from my test that I have done on MTT program. I have learned in marketing on the net you always have to be testing, take the good test results and run with them and just ditch the ones that don't turn out and move on. This is was my first test that I made public and the last one too.

Last nights conference was very inspirational. Tom shared a great story about his friend Clark and how he helped him with a swap exchange to get some immediate cash flow going. As his story was unfolding all I could think about is how we all start at different levels in business and that's why it's hard to put a time line on success for some. What might work very quickly for some will take a long time for others. I just loaded the audio version to my server.

Need some fresh ideas for building a database? Here is another excellent training on how to grow a database of suscribers to your newsletter. Tom give lots of good tips about database marketing here. If you have or have ever thought about starting a newsletter this class is a must.

Tom does go into some html code in this class. If the thought of html scares you or you don't know what it is... you will need to get in on his Wednesday late night class. I did put a recording of the last class I attended on this blog, but to understand it well it's best to stay up late and go to the live class.

MTT TEST Update

I'm starting to see some of the results of my MTT Test. I just noticed my site's they are optimizing for me are now at step 4. They had changed overnite away from step 3 which took was suppose to take 30 days, but instead it took from April 20th to June 1st. In Stage 4 is says "Your ‘BASE’ completed... Calling Sales Traffic... Micro-software loading... MTT's software network instructing ALL World's search engine's robots & spiders... 5 days to completion. Sending & receiving
instructions & smart data..."

However when I go to my stats for my 3 sites they are optimizing I can only get into 1 back office now and that is the MTT Affiliate program. One of the sites they are optimizing for me doesn't even have a domain name yet that I can see...this site according to the 1st page of the client site is at "stage 4"

At this stage all of their own web pages don't add up, so I must make the assumption that either their webpages have a glitch in them or they are falling behind on their way to the "guaranteed results"

My test won't end till August 10th. That is the day MTT has given me as the guaranteed results on their site.

As a side note on the affiliate commissions that were to be available at midnight June 1 GMT time (that's 7 PM MAy 31st Kansas time) nothing has changed since yesterday. It says commissions are now due, but when you click on the link it's the same message about they aren't available til June 1 GMT time.

I have always gotten responses from MTT before anytime I had a question. So this morning I sent an email to them. I'll keep you posted as to the reply I get.

I just have to add this... I got this email this morning from my upline in my primary business that I have been in 10 years (the company is 50 years old) It said... here is a great way to personalize the Join Us Brochure... "You could be earning $500 to $1500 by this time next year, pretty easy."

WOW is that a conserative statement or WHAT!! You guys this a true reality statement here for many beginners into business for the first time. I know I was earning more than that my first year in my primary business, but also understand everyone doesn't start out at the same place... OK the analogy here was this... this is a TRUE statement... NO lots of people won't get excited about it.. but that is reality. What do people get excited about???.. some of the false promises that are out there on the net. I have found if you need or want a larger income coming in faster then you need to start out with a one-up program first. The two I use and promote both bring in $1000 to $3000 a sale.

To me the one up programs are great way to get people into their long term MLM business full time where the TRUE long term BIG Money is.
