Ready for a marathon training? This recording is actually 2 trainings all in one recording. It starts with Tom Prendergast's advanced University of Veretekk training, then it goes into my training on starting a blog on blogger.com. Sorry I forgot to turn off the recording before my session. Just so you know this recording is about 2 hours long and there's a couple of breaks in it that you don't hear anything. I guess that will give you some time to multi-task!

Time saving hint: Listen to these recordings while deleting your spam mail or organizatizing your folders etc... then when we start talking about something that is really important to you listen up and bring up the page. As time passes you will get very good at multi-tasking.

Today you get to see everybody's homework assignment from last week. I don't know about everybody else but I stayed up really late one night finishing my home work assignment. When I was finished, I submitted the last site and by the next day the keyword and site I was optimizing made the first page of Google. I was #10 but still it made it to the first page so I was happy... all that work paid off!!!

Making Customers Happy Can Increase Sales

Happy customers can lighten your work load by cutting down on the
number of fires you put out each day. They can also make you
rich!
It's up to 20 times easier to get a sale from a satisfied
customer as it is to sell to new prospects. It pays to do what
you can to keep customers happy.

1. Make customers feel like there is a free flow of
communication between them and you. As soon as we get an order,
I write back to let the customer know the order has been
received, when they can expect delivery, and how to contact us
for up-to-the-minute information at any time.

2. Respond quickly. If the customer has something good to say,
email or call back with your appreciation. If the customer has a
complaint, get back with them even faster.

3. Explain your product or service. Many customers aren't at
all sure how it works or how you make it. I step each customer
through the process before we start work. "We get your
information, we write your copy, then we send it to you for your
approval." There is a reason why Subway sandwich shops let you
watch them make your sandwich. People love to see the process.

As I was listening to this training I thought of some of the words in the Kid Rock song "Lonely Road of Earth." Such as: "if you just hold on I won't let you fall", and "we can make it through the winds of change" I guess in a way internet marketing to me is like long road with lots of change so everytime I hear this song I think of some of the trials and challenges I've come up against while learning marketing on the net. But just as the beat in the song really turns to a up beat towards the end.. that's the way marketing on the net always comes out in the end. There is a light at the end of the long road. Hope you learn from this training and just remember there is a light at the end of the long road to success.

Oh my what can I say... we are learning sooo much in these trainings... Everyone who is actually doing what we are told to do, won't just be climbing to the top of the search engines but we will be at the top!!
There are so many creative people in these classes it makes me proud to be a part of these trainings. I'm really impressed with some of the homework assignments. This recording isn't perfect though just so you know there is some script errors that pop up, but just close the window an keep listening OK?

The Evil Spam Empire!

The Good Clashes with Evil.. The Sunday Evening Veretekk Conference update addressed the issue of Spam. This email deal has gotten completely out of hand, our local Sunday paper announced yesterday the AOL and Yahoo will start charging for email to go through. What a farce.. This is one of those Veretekk Conferences you just have to take the time to listen to.

Today was another great day packed with information. I feel as if we just all hang in there together we will get what Tom Prendergast is teaching us. Oh yes you will see my mistakes again in this recording.

I was trying to be shy and not show my mistakes this time but Tom is a strict teacher and demanded to see what we are doing.. so don't laugh OK. We are all learning here! Some of my training is at the end of this recording.. the picture I have posted here will help me explain how daisy chaining works I hope... I had lots of questions about daisy chaining today.
