The MOST Powerful Marketing and Advertising on the Planet!

It sounds too simple to be true, but it really is... A well targeted and timely PRESS RELEASE to the media is the most powerful form of marketing and advertising on the planet! A high quality press release, with the proper targeting and distribution to reach the correct media members, could have many businesses sailing on a sea of new sales and profits. Just one feature or a mention in a popular or targeted business publication has the potential to cause some business's phones to literally be ringing off the hook!

The next big question that arises, "How do you go about writing a quality press release that will grab the attention of the media and your particular audience? Here are some tips to help you succeed:

- Pick a "Newsworthy" Angle. Press releases are not an advertisement. Do not try to sell your product or service. Do not use "hype" in press releases. Instead give the media what they want and they will give you what you want... Now, what the press and media really want is a story! Just provide: the Who, What, When, Where and How with regards to the uses of your products and or services in a story format. Show examples of ways that people have used your products and services to their benefit. If you can include some emotions in your story all the better. Think to yourself: Would this be something that I might read in a newspaper?

- Get a Good Start. The headline and the first few sentences of the first paragraph are the absolute most important part of the press release. If you don't catch the readers interest here you will lose your audience. The best way to do this is to use your most hard hitting infomation FIRST rather than build to a climax. This may be opposite to what you would normally do when writing other material - but it does work! What follows in your press release are the details that SUPPORT your story or theme.

- Write to the Media. Remember your press release is being read by a journalist, editor or reporter, not necessarily a client. It's not your job to sell them your product or service. It IS your job to give them an interesting story or piece of news that they will be happy to share and announce to their audience.

- Keep your release short and to the point. It should contain no more than about 500 words and no more than two pages.

- Include your contact information. Provide full contact name, company name, full address, phone number, email address and Web site URL. The contact name should be someone who is knowledgeable and available to answer any questions by media members such as editors, reporters and journalists.

Targeted press releases to the media have helped thousands of companies succeed. They are the most powerful form of marketing and advertising on the planet! Remember: One article is all it takes!

10 Essential Tips to Ensure Your Press Release Makes the News

We have had quite a bit of discussion about how to write press releases and how important they are when you start a new business or campaign. Hopefully these tips will help you make your press release a success.

1. Make sure the information is newsworthy.

2. Tell the audience that the information is intended for them and why they should continue to read it.

3. Start with a brief description of the news, then distinguish who announced it, and not the other way around.

4. Ask yourself, "How are people going to relate to this and will they be able to connect?"

5. Make sure the first 10 words of your release are effective, as they are the most important.

6. Avoid excessive use of adjectives and fancy language.

7. Deal with the facts.

8. Provide as much Contact information as possible: Individual to Contact, address, phone, fax, email, Web site address.

9. Make sure you wait until you have something with enough substance to issue a release.

10. Make it as easy as possible for media representatives to do their jobs.

Especially for New Silver Veretekk Suscribers

If you have just signed up for a FREE Veretekk Silver System and can't find a time to get in on the Silver Trainings when they are held... This post is for you. I have recorded Paul Stanton's Silver Training so you will have access to it.

New Veretekk Suscriber Silver Training

If you are not yet a FREE silver member of the Veretekk System go to http://leads2.barefootsuccess.net and sign up for a Free account.

Do you not have clue what I'm talking about??? In short Veretekk is an amazing automated marketing system that helps you market your business. If you aren't marketing online and haven't taken a close look at this system you owe it to your self to take a closer look. It's doesn't cost anything as a Silver Suscriber and you may stay a Silver Suscriber as long as you want.

Just so you know the Paid Gold System is much more robust to say the least and is a very good value for $41.95 a month. I know it saved me lots of $$ and I'm glad I found this system. I'll never buy a lead again because I have a system together with my marketing that brings premium leads to me.... and trust me they are much better than any lead you could purchase no matter how many times they have been opted in and pre-qualified.

I hope you can make use of this recording to help you learn the power of this amazing system.

Free Content - Millions of Pages of Free Content

For those of you not familiar with “Creative Commons”, it is a term coined by creativecommons.org that is used to describe photos, music, and text that are freely available to reproduce/copy on your own websites/newsletters with the only condition being that you give credit to the author of the content you are reproducing.

So basically its free content. All you have to do is provide a link to the original source.

Here are two places to search for “Free Content”

http://creativecommons.org/find/

-and-

http://search.yahoo.com/cc

For example, a Simple search for the word “SEO” produced 142,000 pages of content in Yahoo, most of which is free to use.

I’m sure many of you can think of a ways to utilize these tools. For all of you link builders out there you should seriously consider licensing your website/content with creativecommons.org. Syndication is one of the easiest and best ways to get free links.

Build Your Brand Online

During lean times, nothing helps bring in consistent sales
like a good, solid brand. The power of your brand-- your
business' name and the clarity it conveys your most
important benefits--can be the most valuable marketing tool
you have.

Here are some ways to establish and strengthen your brand.

Come up with three ideas you want visitors to remember
when they leave your web site. It could be your low price,
your broad selection, your deep expertise, or even your
friendly face.

I like to hit visitors with your idea right from the beginning.
The first words on your opening web page should tell people
the three things you want them to remember about you.

Then use your three ideas consistently from page to page.
These main ideas should be reflected and reinforced . After
someone has spent five minutes on your site, they should
have your three benefits firmly implanted in their mind.

Also consider the tone your brand takes. Does the mood and
message of your site tell people you are enthusiastic, serious,
caring, or ruthless? Depending on your audience, any of
these things could be a powerful reason to buy from you.

Here is one of the logos that I use to establish my brand name for my business. I'm posting this here to get your mind thinking how you could brand yourself.

Money-Making Automated Marketing System

This is one of the flash ads for the Automated Marketing System I use. Until I found this system most of the marketing stratagies were costing me money each month. With this system it is paying for itself, because there is an affiliate program.

I'm not trying to make lots of money with this system... I'm just getting mine paid for and working with the people who I refer this system to so they can get their system paid for too. I call that NO COST marketing.... a new concept?? Yes maybe in the traditional marketing world... but not in MLM, network marketing, or online marketing...
