Tonite's Veretekk Update is an inspriational one to say the least. One of the daily excercise's I do is yoga... it helps keep me inspired and gets my thought processes together. These Sunday evening updates inspire me too... Tom was on a roll tonite and the conference went on for about 1 1/2 hours. If you haven't had a chance to stay up on Veretekk there have been many changes over the last few months. I think this is a training worth taking the time to listen to.

How the Internet is Changing MLM

MLM used require its workers to be bold and aggressive. Let's face it. Unless you were willing to approach George at work and Aunt Nellie at the bridge club with your sales pitch, your retail sales and downline development were never going to go anywhere. More than a few people have gotten into MLM, realized that their shyness level was higher than they thought, and quietly gave up. Months later they were haunted by a garage still full of product.

All that has changed thanks to the Internet. You can now be a runaway success in the MLM of your choice without ever even telling your friends, family, or neighbors. I can already hear the MLM old-timers groaning. "Why that attitude is against everything we've ever been taught. Shrinking violets have no place in network marketing!"

Think again. Remember the teenage nerd who couldn't get a date because he always had his nose stuck in a computer? Today that 35 year-old is president of his own million dollar software firm. Doing business in the new Internet order doesn't require the same talents that the business world used to demand. Keep your head stuck in a monitor and never mind the doorbell. Thanks to the miracle of Internet, anyone, without leaving their easy chair, can communicate with hundreds, thousands, even millions of others with the click of a key.

If you haven't gotten "In the Group" that is using some of the awesome tools available to for MLM marketers to use you are in the right place. I have been fortunate enough to have some of the most cool marketing tools available on the internet today. Here is my list of the most important tools every MLM marketer should have access too:

I ran onto this cool new tool called Desk View. One of the features as a publisher in Desk View is you can publish channels. Channels are pretty much like blogs... but has more power especially with configuring the RSS feeds. What's Wrong With Overture and Google AdWords?

Most of you know that I follow Dr. Nunley's marketing tips. He had this article in his newsletter this week and it really hit home for me. I have been doing a weekly class on how to drive traffic to your website and one of the points I really try to get across is about what page do you want to drive traffic too. I have done this training class 3 times now and every time something happens and the recording gets messed up. I'm starting to think that this is one of those classes that should be attended live and not ever be posted as a recording.

Just about every day I hear from somebody who says, "I get 200
hits a day to my site but no sales." When I ask how they get all
those visitors who don't buy, they tell me from advertising in
pay-per-click search engines and on Google.

This is such a common problem that a number of theories are
starting to circulate. One of my favorites is Overture is paying
people in poor countries to sit all day and click on paid links.

The real reason behind the lack of success with pay-per-click
visitors is probably a lot simpler. These people don't buy from
you specifically, because they have so many other choices.

When you search for "website promotion," you don't just find one
listing, click there and buy. You click through a number of the
listings, maybe even page after page. Because you have so many
choices, it may take you several days of research before you buy.

What can you do to improve sales with pay-per-click advertising?
Design your landing page for somebody who wants to find out about
you and your service with a nothing more than a quick glance.
Include your main benefits in a bold headline. Give your product
or services key features in short bulleted text. Include the
price in large type. Also have a few customer comments that tout
your main benefits.

People buy and join with other People not the product or service they are promoting
oh yes it might have something to do with it.. The " KEY" is People join People!

Is your Cow in the Ditch?

Do you know the number one problem of un-successful businesses?
They don't take action. There's a number of reasons for this, but the biggest one is they don't know what to do or have the confidence to do it.

Successful businesses are those that take action. I'm not talking about the day to day routine actions of your business. What I'm referring to are the actions that move
your business into and beyond the realm of ordinary success.

The "right" actions.

This means taking steps to find the answers to the problems your business is facing, and then implementing the solution.

Because even if you have the right information - if you don't do anything with it - nothing changes. You'll still be stuck in the muck of inactivity and
frustration.

Success comes from taking the right actions.

That's it. That's what the most successful companies do.

They look for, and find the information from somebody who knows the answers. It's usually a mentor or someone with experience. Then they put the information to use.

Anne Mulcahy (CEO of Xerox) was told the following by her
mentor:

"When everything gets really complicated and you feel overwhelmed, you gotta do three things -- First get the cow out of the ditch -- second, find out how the cow got into the ditch -- and third, make sure you do whatever it takes
so the cow doesn't go in the ditch again."

That one of the reasons I started my online brainstorming sessions I host several times weekly to keep you from getting stuck in the ditch.

RSS is added to VERETEKK Traffic Portals

All I can say is look out Search Engines here come the Veretekkies. Yesterday a new tool was added to all of the Veretekk traffic portals... RSS FEEDS!!! This is like icing on the cake when it comes to marketing on the net! I'm so excited.... I was going to take of a few days over the July 4 th holiday, but I felt I just had to get this new information out to everybody.

The announcement was made at the Sunday State of the Week update last night. There are lots more enhancements made to the system but to me this was the highlight.
