I'm not solicitng You to join this, but MTT has created a buzz lately and the CEO of MTT is supposed to show up at a Conference to disscuss how their program will work with "Ace Global" another company that Ty Rivers (the guy who told me about MTT is in.) Just so you know I don't even know what Ace Global is so don't ask me Ok..

Unfortunatly this conference is at the same time that I do my advanced training in the Veretekk Conference Room, so I can't attend, but Ty did send me the link so if you want to sneak in and hear it from the horses mouth you can.

Here is the link to the Conference Room: http://www.aceconference.biz/AceSpace.exe
Conference Call Schedule:
Thursday 27 April at:
11:00 AM (Los Angeles)
02:00 PM (New York) EST.
19:00 GMT (London)

I'm just passing this on in case you would like to know more... if I could attend... I would... then just report back to you.

Since I can't... if you wouldn't mind giving me a call at 888.272.6701 or come to one of my Q & A sessions and tell us what is how it went that would be great!!! We have had lots of discussions about MTT lately. I'll be in my Barefoot Business Conference Centre today (4/27) at 3 PM (CDT) Kansas time. Advanced SEO Training

Would you like a quick nuts and bolts training on SEO optimization? If your answer is YES... then this training is for you. I've posted many trainings on this blog the Advanced SEO trainings are listed as University of Veretekk (UOV). These UOV trainings will give you details on exactly how to get to the top of the search engines. I've also have several Database Marketing 101 trainings.. they are about building lists and marketing to those lists.

Tom is changing the format of his trainings to have alternate the day's a week one will be SEO trainings the other day will be database/newsletter marketing training. Rather that try to organize these trainings I will just be posting the ones that I feel have some fresh content that is not mentioned in another training. Besides that I'm running out of memory on my website.

Tom's Advanced SEO training RECORDING

Tom makes a very good analogy in this recording about the different types of marketers he puts them in 2 catagories. The Hunter and The Farmer. It was one of the best anaologies I have heard. To find out which one I am listen to the recording OK... oh a hint would be in my business name "Barefoot in the Garden" does that sound like a business name of a hunter or farmer. :)

11 Quick (and Good) Content Ideas for Your Ezine or Website

This article was written by: Online entrepreneur Alexandria K. Brown, "The E-zine Queen," publishes the award-winning 'Straight Shooter Marketing' weekly ezine with 18,000+ subscribers. If you're ready to jump-start your marketing, make more money, and have more fun in your small business, get your FREE tips now at www.EzineQueen.com

Publishing articles, especially via an e-zine, is the ideal opportunity to showcase your business. By sharing your knowledge and expertise, you build credibility as an expert, while spreading the word about your services and products.

While I'm sure that sometimes you have dozens of content ideas, I bet other times you find yourself staring at a blank computer screen, grumbling that it's publishing time again. Well, have no fear! Here are 11 quick (and good) content ideas for when you're in a pinch.

1. Give real-life success stories.
Describe a problem you've solved for a client/customer, and use that as a springboard to offer more general advice. Show your readers how you've helped customers address challenges -- "case studies" if you will. This positions you as the expert in your readers' minds more than your coming out and saying so.

2. Think of three areas in which you'd like your clients to think of you as a resource. Now develop content in those areas. For example, in my past life as a professional copywriter, I really enjoyed writing for Web sites. To help encourage my clients and prospects to hire me for these projects, I published several articles on how to write Web copy that sells.

3. Read industry publications for ideas. Are there any hot issues in your field right now? The more controversial, the better. Don't be afraid to offer your own opinion -- your readers want to know it. After all, YOU are the expert in their eyes.

4. Jot down 8 questions your clients have asked you in the past.
You know, the ones they ask you over and over. Answer each in a short article. If you publish weekly, that's two months' worth of content, right off the bat! And if you can't think of any questions, send all your current clients/customers a quick e-mail, asking them what topics they're most interested in learning more about.

5. Learn anything neat lately from an industry conference, workshop, seminar, or insightful article? No one says you have to reinvent the wheel of information! Pass on any gems of advice you've learned elsewhere -- just give them full attribution. Or give your opinion of the event or article itself. Your readers will appreciate your frankness.

6. Offer a list of your top 5 or 10 tips on a certain subject.
It's much easier to bang out a list of tips than to put together a real article. Of course, the tips can evolve into an article if you wish! Be sure to list your best tip first, or at least close to the top. (If you "fire your biggest gun" last, you risk losing your audience before they get to the good stuff.)

7. Interview associates whose expertise would interest your readers (while not competing with yours). E-mail interviews are incredibly easy to do. Just send your interviewee 3 to 5 questions via e-mail, edit their answers, and have them approve the final version. Be sure to give them a short plug in your e-zine as a thank you. (A one- or two-sentence description of their business and their Web address should be fine.)

8. Recommend books and resources that you use, and offer full reviews on them.
In one issue of my old e-zine, "AKB MarCom Tips," I featured reviews of my favorite four copywriting resource books. I'm glad I also gave my Amazon.com associate links, because I ended up making some nice commission, to boot!

9. Invite clients or readers to write you with their own questions, and answer one in each issue.Right after their question, publish the person's name, business, and Web address, with their permission. They'll enjoy the attention and free publicity!

10. Invite readers to send in profiles.
Ask them to tell you about themselves -- their names, businesses, locations, and how they use the information gained in your e-zine. Feature one profile in each issue or one every few issues.

11. When all else fails, borrow an article!
There are dozens of Web sites offering hundreds of articles that you can use in your e-zine. The articles are free and available for you to use immediately. The only catch is you're required to leave the entire article intact, including the author's promotional information. One of my favorite places to search for articles is www.ezinearticles.com.

One last note: Keep in mind that if your e-zine's main objective is to get you more clients and customers, you should NOT feature other writers' articles more than once in a blue moon. Remember our main goal is to continually showcase YOU. : )

This is an excellent class about getting your newsletter started, branding and promoting you newsletter. Again if you are serious about marketing online these classes are a must to help support your marketing efforts.

Day 4 Database Marketing 101 RECORDING

As most of you know I'm big on branding and creating an image on the net. Here is the logo I use on my product site:
Tom did ask about my newsletter optin site, unfortunatly I was on the phone and didn't hear him so here is the link to my product newsletter optin site.
http://www.barefootmerchant.com/newsletter.htm

I'm still struggling with the html code on optin form so don't be too critical. It's because I edit my website with front page and it adds a bunch of extra code. Hopefully I will get a chance soon to fix some errors and get the fonts right etc. Hey we are all learning here OK...

More Than Traffic Test Update

Most of you know that I'm running a test on this new "More Than Traffic" program. I'll be posting the results as they come in here on my blog. So to update those who may not have gotten my email here is what I first sent out:

Title: Tired of Promoting, with Little Results?

Body: Got a Good Business Opp? but can't seem to make it Work!
Give it to the Professionals, they Market for a Living!
Oh yea, They don't "Charge" till You Get "Results"
Check em' out, then give me a Call
www.traffic4U2.com

Several of you did indeed call me and those are the people that learned about my test first.

Here is what I have learned so far with my testing..

1. You can sign up for the affiliate program for free. Then place an order under yourself and save some money.

2. If you plan to use a re-direct URL like I did... DON'T cloak or mask the the re-direct or lots of people using that URL will default back to the main site. I fixed my re-direct so it now works. Live and learn I guess that's why I test.

3. So far I haven't personally gotten any red flags.. all of my questions have been answered via email.

4. It's a pain to send the money to have your site's optimized. I ended up sending my money via cashiers check through USPS express mail.

5. They assign you a webmaster to work with my webmaster is: Simon Baxter

6. I'm testing 3 websites. A high price point site www.barefootsecret.biz
A low price point www.barefootsuccess.net
and their own affiliate program www.traffic4U2.com

7. Pretty much everything you need to to know is laid out for you on the website.

8. You must change the length of the banners to fit on this blog template

We have had lots of discussion's about this program and others in my Q & A sessions, that's when I learned I had people signing up that didn't show up in my stats. I feel though that was my fault for not reading the fine print about not masking or cloaking the re-direct URL's.

To join us in our discussions take a look at my event schedule:
http://www.barefoot-in-the-garden.com/eventschedule.htm
It's in the Q & A sessions that we talk about some of the programs we are testing. I update this schedule weekly. I also try my best to shorten your learning curve to make you a successful marketer on the net.

Database Marketing 101 Day 3

In today's training Tom goes over how to use the new Verimail 2 and goes into detail how to up load email lists to verify into the system. He also covers Veretracking. If you are just learning the Veretekk system this training recording is a must to help you understand the system. There is about 5 minutes of music before the training starts.

Day 3 Database Marketing 101 RECORDING

Easter Sunday Update

I hope everyone had a happy easter.. this is a news wire picture of the worlds largest known bunny, a breed appropriately named "German Giant". The owner in the picutre, Hans Wagner, says his big bunny weighs in at 22 pounds and measures more than 3 feet long, even following a strict vegetarian diet. That's one big bunny! I surely wouldn't want him loose in my vegetable garden.

The Sunday evening Veretekk Conference was fairly short and inspirational. I'm just posting the audio only.

Datbase Marketing 101 Day 2

Today's class was filled with good information about getting your form code on your website to people can suscribe to your newsletter. Many of the class students turned in the homework assignment so you can get some ideas for news letters and Tom goes over how to make your newsletter form code fit your website. I must say some of that HTML stuff is pretty in depth, but just have to listen to that he is saying and soon or later we will get it. It might be later for me.. but it's great content and you can learn lots by listening and applying what you learn here.

Day 2 Database Marketing 101 RECORDING

In this training Tom also mentions a site called More Than Traffic. I'm currently running a test on market on this program it will be about 4 months before I know how it will turn out. I'll keep you posted and to how my test goes. For those of you that are curious take a look at: www.traffic4u2.com But please call me before you invest any money ok. I'll give you an up date on what I've learned so far.

University of Veretekk Day 15 "Last Day"

Today was the last day of University of Veretekk. Are you a graduate? If so you are probably seeing some awesome results in your search engine rankings. I'm sorry I didn't get this recording up sooner. I tried to post it yesterday and had the whole thing written and ready to post... about that time blogger decided it was time to do some maintence on the blogger system. Oh well here it is.. better late than never.

Day 15 University of Veretekk RECORDING

In this last class Tom reviews everything he taught in all of the University of Veretekk classes. He discusses keyword research and has some of his students show their listings at the top of google. Another really good training tool in this recording is a PDF that explains daisy chaining for new people using a Veretekk Silver account. If I were you I would at listen and print off/ save the PDF file.. I know I have already used the PDF to help explain the daisy chaining process using 1-family classifieds.

Thanks again to Tom Prendergast for these great training sessions! Next week Tom will be starting a new series of classes that will cover writing email's, autoresponders, and I would imagine will teach us all the benefits of the new Veremail 2.
