Here is another great advanced training by Tom Prendergast CEO of Veretekk. I'm learning that there people attending these advanced classes and applying what they have learned so well they are getting offers to do SEO and build webpages for other people. How cool is that!!!

I did want to mention too... (the vain side is coming out here or as Tom would say bragging rights) anyway during the class you will notice that Tom turns over the mic to Paul Stanton for him to show us what he had done to get his site's to the top of the search engines. Well just so you guys know... my 2 gold accounts in veretekk the usernames are "barefoot" and "barefootmentor" While Paul is looking for his site's mine are popping up at the top of google. I think the 1st key word was "automated lead generation system" and the other one was "automated leads" anyway as you watch the recording look for my site's OK? Hey I didn't even know they were there.. it's amazing what you learn in these classes.

In this training also Tom takes us through setting up a pop3 account and how to FTP(File Transfer Protacal) with Nathosting, he's got training sildes and everything to walk you through it. This will certainily shorten your learning curve when it comes to setting up your own website and email accounts.

New Search Engine Helps Locate Podcasts

As I was doing my usual new market research this morning I ran across this story on the Sci-Tech Today Website.

The search engine is called Podzinger.com. This is a cool tool we can use to find useful new information.

One thing I like about Podcasts is you can listen while doing other things.. if you hear someting that is of interest you can "dummy up" and listen closer. Now this doesn't work if you are copywriting. If you are like me and have a large customer base that orders products off the internet.. what I do is listen to podcasts/webcasts while I'm putting these customers in autoresponders thanking them for the order. Actually my autoresponder consists of just 2 emails. 1. that thanks them for the order 2. a note that goes out 7 days later making sure they recieved the order. Sorry I got off the subject a little... I just wanted to paint a picture when I listen to the podcast.

Cindy's Advanced Veretekk Training

I decided to do a recording of my advanced Veretekk Gold training and post it here. I cover building a page on free-page.net, driving traffic to traffic portals, (at least how I do it..) creating an image for your business, how to do a html email, adding pictures to a website and email, where to get good quality pictures, how to change the pixels of images.

Every Thursday at 11AM PST I do these advanced trainings... they are never exactly the same. This next Thursday I think I'm going to cover promoting blogs.. I have noticed that lots of people are starting blogs and I want to make sure you understand how to get them listed and start building a reader base...
I've had so many people come to me that are confused about daisy chaining so I'm going to attempt to explain OK. To do a daisy chain make a list of all your sites on a piece of paper, this includes all your Veretekk sites, your primary business sites, blogs any other sites you have out there on the net.

Here is an example list:

To daisy chain start at the top and link the 1st to the 2nd site, the 2nd to the 3rd, the 3rd to the 4th.. etc... making a long chain. think of it as all these sites lining up and holding hands.. when the Search Engines go to one site then they are going to find the next site in a chain and spider that and then the spider just works it's way down the chain till is has spidered all of your site's.

Here is a great training that will have light bulbs going off in your head. Tom is really driving home some good facts on SEO that we all can learn from. If you have been following all of these advanced trainings you can see results.. how cool is that.. I can guarantee you if you are willing to do what you are being taught in the classes you will be learning the craft of SEO that many people pay others big bucks to do for them.

Write Classified Ads That Sell

I'm a big fan of classified ads. They are the most affordable
kind of advertising and, if used properly, can pull in lots of
leads. Make sure you have a headline. Keep it short. Write it in
ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. I try to make the headline
speak directly to the reader with a twist that is just a tad
provocative.
ARE YOU SURE you're working the best system?
DON'T GIVE UP trying to save costs. We can help.

These headlines jump out at people when they're scanning
down a list of ads.

Be careful when you use abbreviations. Not everyone will
understand what they mean. I'm embarrassed to say it took
me a long time to figure out SASE means "self-addressed
stamped envelope."

Make your ad sound conversational rather than like a want
ad. You will get better response.

Yep that's right I wasn't planning on posting this Sunday Evening state of the week conference with Tom Prendergast but... I changed my mind when I heard Tom say that Veretekk will soon be using Green Zap as a payment processor and accepting webcash for payment.. at least that's they way I heard it.

I didn't get the first 20 min. of this conference recorded.. I slipped up and logged on late.. sorry.. what can I say it was a hectic weekend. We have new baby chicks at our house! Anyone who has been around me very long knows I love babies and it's spring time at our farm in Kansas!! In farm life springtime is known to produce lots of babies.. gosh when Adam our second son was born in May a few years ago.. we had 8 orphan baby greyhound puppies, 7 baby goats that we bottle feed, plus his older brother Matt who was 22 months old at the time. We sure had lots of babies to take care of that year besides our normal farm chores. Hence Babies are high on my priority list!

The training today consisted of some very shocking news about Alex Sonkin leaving Green Zap. He will be joining our team of leaders at Veretekk. The main training of this recording is about setting up your own pop 3 account in Outlook Express. This is a great training that includes video slides. This is one of those keeper trainings that you will be able to send to new people as they come onboard.
